Well if you've added me to your deviantwatch at any time you'll have seen that I truly am stricken with a sever case of chronic lazyness. Something that people think I choose to have, but I HONESTLY wish I could get over it. It's like a writer's block that takes over your whole body and just leaves you ling there finding anything to do excpet something worthwhile.

Sooooooooooooooo, this is the point where I'm going to start turning my life around and actually do something with it. The only thing I have going for me right now is my beautiful girlfriend Lottie (3 years in 12 days :) ) but I need to start giving her reasons to be proud of me.

I have been putting off starting my Andy Arseface comic for a while, because I really want it to look good but I'm not up to a good enough standard yet. So what I'm thinking of is maybe doing a few comics on a zombie spoof subject.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on subjects I could use for any comic, the zombie one in particular, any places that will help me learn how to be a better artist. or just any random ramblings :)

Anyway, you should hope (or not as the case may be) to see more work here soon

Not sure of any ideas to help you, but the zombie thing sounds awesome! Just get stuck into it. There's a web comic I read called Questionable Content, which started out with very basic drawings. As it's progressed through the years the artist has really refined it well, and it now looks amazing. Don't be afraid of it not looking exactly how you want it, you will definitely improve as you go. Practice makes perfect :)

Weird was just guna message you and see how you were :) saw you were online in my friends list

Thanks for the advice. I've seen some Questionable Content but nothing from the beginning, I'll have to go look. I have however seen a progression in another webcomic called Bigger Than Cheeses at www(dot)biggercheese(dot)com.

I'm just going to have to get over this fear of dissaproval or negative feedback and dive into it but it's a really high hurdle to get over :s dammit haha!

I understand the nerves, but you have to let your determination to improve and succeed outweigh the fear of failure. You won't fail, anyway

Just do it!

What I think I'll have to do is employ you with virtual (and non existing) money to shout at me if I'm ever negative or if I don't upload enough deviations haha :)

I have a blog that is somewhat ironically calle Atychiphilic, which is technically a made up word coming from the fear of failure (atychiphobic) and means love of failure, because I'm so scared of failing that I unintentionally make myself fail so to others it lookf like I love it :)

Haha I think many people have been there. It's easier to fail than succeed, I guess, but you'll get nowhere.

I understand the feeling - I often feel like I have a perpetual case of writer's block, although sometimes it's because I just don't feel like working on it. I really should get over that, too. Hang in there! :)
